Welcome from Linda Hughes and Dominic Carden

Situated on the edge of the cotswolds, is a small private stud farm, run by Linda Hughes and Dominic Carden. Cotswold Arabians sits nestled into the hillside, in a secluded Gloucestershire Village.

In this idyllic countryside runs a small herd of mares mainly of Russian and Eyptian bloodlines. Currently it is the home of two young stallions, Patros HB and Angelo RE whose pedigrees have lines pertaining to the famous Padron Psyche, Bey Shah and the legendary Estopa and her son lbn Estopa. Despite the ownership of very simillar sire lines, both are very different in type, attitude and movement, with their own very distinctive personalities.

The stud has achieved a recognised name over a relatively short period of time in the show ring also proving themselves with achievements both in the UK and Europe. Cotswold Arabians are now looking to further expand their breeding programe of these proud, elegant, beautiful and extremely intelligent animals.

We also have the facilities and the expertise to take youngsters (and older horses if required) for behavioural issues, breaking and schooling. We have fantastic facilities for your mare to come to us whether it is for covering, with or without foal at foot, AI services and also foaling down.

We can also offer a very comprehensive service for your baby whilst here if required for handling, halter breaking, learning to load, even weaning. If you require help with anything that is not listed here, please do not hesitate to call us, as we are sure we can either help or put you in touch with someone who can.

We welcome visitors to our farm, and would be happy to show our horses to you and discuss yours and our future prospects and dreams.
